Racing Your Way Up the Maluti Mountains at Lesotho Ultra
Sports enthusiasts are in for a treat this November as Lesotho Ultra makes its way to the Maluti Mountains in Lesotho Highlands. Interested parties will be able to find lodging at a hotel in Lesotho to participate in this spine-tingling marathon that covers the terrain considered number one for high-altitude running in the world. Maluti Mountains, located only 2 hours and 50 minutes away from Avani Lesotho Hotel & Casino is connected to many villages through a network of trails.
Races in this series that are to be held on the 5th of November 2022 include the 38 km mountain challenge, 50 km ultra and 21 km, the latter being developed with the aim of improving accessibility for the general trail running community. The programme comprises of races, cut-offs, prize giving and the Rush Challenge, expected to be quite the spectacle for onlookers who should register for spectator entries via email.
