Reflecting on the Seventh GCC Tourism Ministers Meeting in Muscat

In a remarkable event that took place on October 4 and 5, the Sultanate of Oman enlisted the assistance of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism to host the seventh meeting between the tourism ministers of the GCC nations. The prestigious event was held at the Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

This meeting was a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to bolster collaboration among GCC member countries in the realm of tourism. Attended by Ministers responsible for tourism, it served as a platform to deliberate on various crucial issues aimed at advancing the travel and tourism sector in the region, including Oman. Muscat hotels the likes of Avani Hotel Muscat were major beneficiaries of the solutions suggested to improve the tourism market. The discussions held during these two days were undoubtedly instrumental in fostering stronger ties and envisioning a shared future for tourism across the Gulf Cooperation Council.
