The 6th annual Luang Prabang Half Marathon successfully concluded on the 21st October. This year’s objective of the event was to raise funds to help the Lao Friends Hospital for Children. Reports say that the event was successful in collecting a substantial amount of money has been immediately transferred to the hospital all thanks to active participants who contributed to the event. Reports also state that many tourists participated in the event were tourists who were stationed at resort properties like AVANI+ Luang Prabang which is a renowned hotel Luang Prabang. Runners were given the option from choosing from 7km, 14km and 21km runs along the scenic routes of the world heritage town and also, the charity event provided medals for all finishers as a token of appreciation.
