In an attempt to cater to the growth of the tourism sector, Salalah Air plans on launching Oman’s first ever flying club along with an adventure sports centre.
While the headquarters of the club and centre are to be located in Salalah itself, there will be a branch situated in Sharbitat as well. This base will play host to several aerial sports such as parachuting and para-motoring, along with other underwater activities such as diving, sailing and deep sea fishing.
There are plenty of wonderful places to vacation at in the area, such as the Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara to name just one beach resort. Salalah draws in travellers looking for a holiday amidst nature with its abundant greenery and sea life.
Whilst keeping to Omani culture, Salalah Air hopes to become the premier charter air service in the Sultanate.
