The excitement is palpable as music enthusiasts across Thailand eagerly await the upcoming Sam Smith concert scheduled to be held on 3rd October 2023 in the capital. It will be hosted at the IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani, which can be reached from properties like Pathumwan Princess Hotel which enjoys a central location in Bangkok. Tourist attractions aside, the city is playing host to concerts from some of the biggest names in the music industry and Sam Smith is another prime example of this.
The English singer-songwriter and multi-award-winner, who recognizes as non-binary and uses the ‘them/they’ pronouns, will be performing in Thailand after five years, following his sold-out concert in 2018. The tour is in support of Smith’s latest album, also titled “Gloria” which was released in January this year. Fans can expect to hear songs from it such as ‘Unholy’ and ‘I’m Not Here to Make Friends’ as well as previous global hits like ‘Stay with Me’ and ‘I’m Not the Only One’. In addition to Bangkok, Smith will also be performing in other cities in Asia as part of the world tour, including Singapore, Manila, and Seoul.
