The Samui Summer Jazz Festival was back again this year which saw some of the most well-known names in the local and international jazz scene performing live in Koh Samui. Hotels, resorts, and beach clubs here hosted this event which took place from 2nd to 7th May 2023 and provided the perfect venues for six nights of jazz. Organised by SKÅL International Koh Samui, this festival kicked off with a performance by New York Grand Classics of Swing Orchestra featuring Anna Serierse; it gave audiences a chance to enjoy music from the golden age of jazz.
Another highlight was the performance by Sven Rozier Quintet featuring Lizzy Ossevoort and Susanne Alt DJ & Sax which took place on 4th May at the SEEN Beach Club Samui of Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort. Those who attended the festival also had the chance to catch Brazilian Lucas Santana, Samui Jazz Brothers, Baer Traa Quintet, Koh Mr Saxman and more. There was also a special kids’ concert with Lucas Santana and Susanne Alt on 6th May for Sisters on Samui, the charity partner of the event.
