The South China Morning Post (SCMP) recently named its “10 Best Luxury Hotel Launches of 2020”; this was done in an October online article in the Hong Kong-based publication’s STYLE section which singled out hotels from across the globe. In the list were five properties from Asia including Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort which is located in Krabi and amongst the leading Ao Nang beach hotels; the article highlighted its location overlooking the Andaman Sea and the region’s limestone cliffs as well as excursions like diving and island hopping on offer.
The other hotels in Asia that made the list were in Bangkok (Thailand), Kyoto (Japan) and Suzhou and Fujian, both in China. The remaining five of the 10 Best Luxury Hotel Launches of 2020 were properties in New York and Los Angeles in the US, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Las Palmas (Spain) and Puebla (Mexico).
