Seychelles aims to increase awareness among Chinese tourists- Drawing in a larger crowd to this exotic destination

As stated by The Seychelles Tourism Board it has been noted that Chinese travellers have shown an increased interest in the Indian Ocean Archipelago which has made them turn towards sources that would give them more knowledge on its 115 islands. It comes as no surprise that the Seychelles has been voted as one of the top island destination choices of Chinese travellers. Seychelles was awarded the ‘2015 Chinese citizens favourite island destination’ which was presented to the secretary for tourism Anne Lafortune. The same was awarded to 20 more other destinations which included 10 international destinations and 10 destinations within China. The destinations were decided by Chinese citizens itself. Tourism is considered to be the stronghold of the Island’s economy of which China is potential market with high prospects. Nevertheless, Chinese travellers seem to have many reasons for visiting the beautiful island of the Seychelles. Seychelles is popular for its immaculate collection of accommodation and if you are headed down here you may consider to check in at a top rate Seychelles beach resort like the AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spawhich is among the many good resorts it has to offer.
