A total of thirty cars have been announced to comprise the grid for this year’s Sepang 12 Hours. Organised by the legendary Stephane Ratel Organistion, who are solely responsible for world-wide GT3 standards in international sports-car racing, the Sepang 12 hours endurance race is one of the most significant sporting events in Asia. This time around the event, which is usually held in late August, has been pushed to December for the convenience of the European teams taking part, since iconic car-manufacturer Bentley is scheduled to take part, featuring a two-car factory M-sport effort.
Tourism to Malaysia is scheduled to increase exponentially in light of this event, so if you wish to find accommodation nearby to the race-course resorts such as AVANI Sepang Goldcoast Resort, one of the top-rate hotels in Sepang is a option.
This time around, the Sepang 12 hours will be part of a much bigger picture, being the InterContinental GT Challenge, which the Ratel organization is planning to launch sometime in 2017.
Be sure to not to miss this year’s Sepang 12 hours, sure to be one of the biggest sporting events of 2016
