One of the most beautiful tropical landscapes in the world, Seychelles, has once again hosted its famous eco-friendly marathon. The brainchild behind the event is Dong Chang Jeong, who is the Honorary Consul General of South Korea to Seychelles. The purpose of the event is to enhance the health of Seychelles people and to promote interaction between Seychelles people and foreign participants.
During the course of the marathon, the runners ran from Beau Vallon trough and North and North-East of Mahe, and through the capital of Victoria. The marathon covered just over 42 kilometres, as per the guidelines.
The marathon always garners international attention and is beneficial to many entities throughout the nation, including many a Seychelles beach resort along the likes of AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa. The event is recognised throughout the world due to its affiliation with many global organisations.
