During a meeting on Thursday, March 14, Minister Sylvestre Radegonde led a delegation from the Seychelles Tourism Department, including key figures like Mrs. Sherin Francis and Mrs. Bernadette Willemin, to engage with Turkish Airlines executives, notably Mr. Bilal Eksi, CEO, and his team. Discussions revolved around enhancing airline routes, bolstering connectivity, refining promotional strategies, fostering collaborative tourism ventures, and promoting sustainable practices.
The Turkish Airlines delegation reciprocated the enthusiasm, reaffirming their commitment to bolstering the relationship with Tourism Seychelles. Both parties were eager about the potential surge in tourism traffic and subsequent economic benefits for both Seychelles and Turkey. Presently, Turkish Airlines offers three weekly flights via its Istanbul hub, providing seamless access to Seychelles for travelers, further solidifying the foundation for future collaborations and tourism growth between the two nations by facilitating travel to and from tourism hotspots, as well as access to all inclusive resorts in Seychelles such as the Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas.
