Shifting Gear – Design, Innovation and the Australian Car

Providing visitors with a unique chance to get to learn more about Australian cars, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) will present a novel car exhibition in 2015, featuring some of the country’s most iconic creations. Running from 6th March to 12 July 2015, the exhibition titled Shifting Gear – Design, Innovation and the Australian Car will be the first of its kind to be hosted at an Australian art institution. The 1969 Holden Hurricane, the GM 6.0-litre Holden EFIJY Showcar and the 1970 Holden Torana GTR-X Concept will be among the highlights of the exhibition.
