Shorties Film Festival Bangkok Next Month – Showcasing the Best of Short Films

Putting the spotlight on an array of enthralling short films in Asia, the Shorties Film Festival Bangkok is set to take place next month in the Thai capital. The event will be held from 8th to 12th September 2020 at the Hive, Thonglor; this venue is within easy reach of some of the top hotels in Bangkok including properties belonging to hospitality brands like Maitria Hotels & Residences. Those attending can look forward to viewing selected films that will showcase diverse talents be it in directing, editing, cinematography or screenplay writing.

The event is part of a five-day celebration of short films and coincides with other Shorties Film Festivals taking place at different Asia-Pacific destinations during the same period; these include Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan and Australia. This year marks the event’s third edition and it is a part of an initiative by the Hive Worldwide to promote and encourage up and coming filmmakers.
