SilkAir, Singapore’s regional airline has announced that starting from 8th April 2017; it will be flying to Sri Lanka, as it takes over some of the services from Singapore Airline’s Colombo flights. The airline is set to operate three direct flights a week between Singapore and Colombo, instead of the existing service offered by Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airline will continue its normal daily flight schedule to the city. Silk Air has be scheduled to fly to Colombo every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday whilst also offering return flights from Colombo on the same day. This allows tourists ample time to explore the city and its secrets while staying at some of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. Airport transfers could be arranged from some of the city’s key hotels such as Colombo Courtyard Boutique Hotel to ensure guests have the most comfortable and convenient travels to the beautiful island of Sri Lanka.
