Singapore approves use of IATA Travel Pass for arriving passengers – Plans to reopen are put in place

Singapore is now on the verge of opening for travel overseas and has decided to accept the IATA Travel Pass for passengers who will be arriving in the country. Those travelling to Singapore can now use the IATA travel pass to share their travel information with the airlines on arrival and before departure. The passenger’s health reports can also be shared through the system with no contact at all.

IATA’s Director-General, Willie Walsh and stated that Singapore’s acceptance of the system was a very significant event as this will give room for trial. This way the system can be perfected for use in future in the travel industry. He also stated that the partnership between the government of Singapore and IATA’s partnership is a good example for other countries to follow. Hotels near Mapletree Business City Singapore the likes of Park Hotel Alexandra are now ready to accept guests in the near future.
