Held under the theme ‘Art Takes Over’, Singapore Art Week is back offering art lovers a chance to enjoy an eclectic collection of work by artists from around the world. Hosted by the Singapore Tourism Board and the National Arts Council, this special event will take place from 19th to 27th January. One of the key features is the fact that this art is not just limited to one location; in fact, many venues in the city be it museums, galleries or special art precincts will all have various showcases and installations easily accessible from many nice hotels in Singapore.
Amongst the spaces to enjoy Singapore Art Week 2019 would be The Arts House, National Gallery Singapore, Esplanade Park, National Museum of Singapore and the Little India precinct, 15 minutes from Park Hotel Alexandra. While there are more than 100 events scheduled, one of the highlights would be the Art Stage which features contemporary Asian art.
