With Sri Lanka becoming increasingly popular as a tourist destination in foreign countries a number of airliners have turned their head towards the island. Some of them have already added Sri Lanka to their destination list and have commissioned scheduled flights. TUI Poland, Edelweiss and Aeroflot are the European airline companies that have already started sending their flights to the country during the latter part of last year. The first flights’ crew and the passengers were also given a warm welcome with a traditional muse, which included dances and flower garlands to celebrate the momentous occasion. Resort properties the likes of Heritance Negombo are very much delighted to hear this news and are eagerly waiting to better serve the visitors who are arriving from new destinations and they are also providing guests with a variety of lucrative hotel offers. Sri Lanka will soon become one of the prime tourist destinations in the world and many economists and entrepreneurs are eagerly waiting for this to become a reality.
