Singapore Expands Vaccinated Travel Lanes – Sri Lanka Amongst the Nations Chosen

The Vaccinated Travel Lanes established by Singapore have been expanding, providing those who are fully vaccinated with a chance to enjoy quarantine-free travel. In December last year, key additions were made including the popular tourist destination of Sri Lanka. This gave those from Singapore a chance to easily visit this island nation and enjoy stays at “Safe & Secure” certified properties like Turyaa Kalutara; located by the beach, such hotels in Kalutara offer all the vibrancy and coastal adventures that travellers used to enjoy before the pandemic.

Sri Lanka was not the only nation that was added to Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lanes in December 2021; the other destinations were the Maldives, Thailand, Turkey, Cambodia and Fiji. Under the scheme’s guidelines, fully vaccinated travellers returning to Singapore on designated flights don’t have to quarantine on arrival either and only need to submit to COVID-19 testing.
