Singapore Expecting Up To 6 Million Tourists This Year – Arrival Numbers Continue to Rise

Tourist arrivals in Singapore have shown a promising increase following the nation reopening its borders in April this year under the Vaccinated Travel Framework. For the first half of the year, Lion City recorded 1.5 million visitors and subsequently, in July, the Singapore Tourism Board announced that it expected four to six million arrivals by the end of 2022. For the first six months, Indonesia made up the highest visitor-generating market followed by India, Malaysia, Australia, and the Philippines.

A popular tourist destination, the country offers safe accommodation too at properties like the SG Clean certified PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore. When based at such a Pickering hotel, Singapore attractions like Chinatown as well as the Central Business District are easily accessible. With the Christmas season coming up, more travelers will be expected as the country looks to achieve its arrival target.
