Following the reopening of its borders for fully vaccinated travellers this year, Singapore eased its entry requirements further; this came into effect on 26th April 2022 with such vaccinated tourists being exempted from having to do any pre-departure tests before embarkation. Last month the entry protocols were further updated; beginning from 1st July this year, those between 13 and 17 years of age need to be fully vaccinated as well.
As a result of the borders being reopened and restrictions being relaxed, arrivals have shown an encouraging increase too; for example, according to the Singapore Tourism Board, 294,200 tourists visited in April 2022 which was more than double the number recorded in March this year. While travellers can once more experience the many attractions of the Lion City, they can also enjoy safe accommodation at hospitality brands like Park Hotel Group; the properties of such a reputed hotel chain in Asia are SG Clean certified with stringent health and hygiene measures in place.
