Singapore Resilient in Uplifting Tourism – Preparing for Growth Ahead

Despite facing setbacks due to COVID-19, the tourism sector of Singapore has shown great resilience to get back on track, while also helping local efforts to combat the pandemic; this was highlighted in an online article published on the Travel Trends Today (T3) website on 16th February 2021. It further went on to point out that the government has offered various measures to support companies connected with tourism which have been able to now position themselves for growth in the future.

While tourism in Singapore will take some time to reach the pre-pandemic status, the necessary steps have been put into place. This includes offering safe stays for travellers at SG Clean-certified properties be it at accommodation in Orchard Road or a hotel in Farrer Park including options such as Park Hotel Farrer Park. As part of its tourism-related strategies, Singapore also launched new initiatives like virtual travel trade engagement roadshows targeting the Indian market.
