Singapore Sees a Great Influx of Indian Tourists – From Survive to Thrive!

Singapore saw a whopping 535,000 Indian tourists in the first half of 2023, which is great news for Singapore tourism after it took a major hit during the pandemic. In 2019, the numbers for the year stood at 1.4 million, third-largest only behind China and Indonesia. As the first half of 2023 came to an end, the numbers show potential to reach this benchmark once again, after 4 years.

The Indian visitors included leisure travellers including youngsters and families, business travellers, holidaymakers, etc. Singapore Airlines’ direct connectivity between 19 Indian cities has helped increase the number of arrivals as well. Some of the travellers who visited the city for luxury travel experiences would have most likely chosen Singapore suites as their accommodation, with a majority of them opting for properties like Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road Singapore.
