Singapore to Take ‘Step by Step’ Approach on Reopening Border with Malaysia

Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan has stated that the city will be taking a step-by-step approach regarding the reopening of the border with Malaysia. The most important thing – the Balakrishnan mentioned – was to make sure rigorous and thorough testing measures are set in place before the border is opened.

As such, if you’re looking to head to Singapore from Malaysia and spend time and indulge in the services of the best luxury hotel in Singapore – perhaps at the Grand Park City Hall – you might have to wait just a bit longer. As state officials have clearly stated, there is no chance that a sudden and total lift of the travel restriction will occur. It will be a slow process, but ultimately a safe one as well.
