The 2015 WTA Finals that was held at the Singapore indoor Stadium from 26 October to 1 November was a stunning thriller all the way between Agnieszka Radwanska and Petra Kvitova. The 45th edition of the tournament run by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) was part of the WTA Tour. Singapore has become the ninth country to host the WTA Finals and would get the opportunity to host the event for at least another five years. In the thrilling finals, the underdog in the entire tournament, the former world No. 2 Radwanska was able to topple her long time rival Kvitova in an unexpected outcome to win the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore title presented by SC Global. The tournament held in Singapore for the first time saw massive crowds of tennis fans arriving in Singapore from around the world and manyhotels near Bugis Junction such as the Somerset Bencoolen Singapore going full-house on occupancy.
