Sri Lanka is now open to travellers – Here’s how tourism will rise again

Everyone was waiting patiently for the day that they can holiday once again. The waiting though is now over with countries like Sri Lanka deciding to open doors to tourists. Unlike any other place in the region, Sri Lanka has come up with a procedure that doesn’t keep tourists stuck in their rooms the whole time.

The first 2 weeks will have to be spent within the hotel. This doesn’t mean that travellers will be confined to their rooms, they are free to use any of the facilities at the hotel including the beach. However, they are requested to keep their distance from other guests and locals. Tourists are also free to travel to certain spots of the island called a bio-bubble which include the best attractions of the island. When it comes to accommodation, travellers must be mindful to look for Level 1 approved hotels near Colombo. After two weeks, tourists can travel and transfer to hotels of choice like Pegasus Reef.
