Sri Lanka makes a stronger presence at the Fine Food Australia – Authenticity wind attentiona makes a stronger presence at the Fine Food Australia – Authenticity wind attention

At the biggest international trade event for the food industry- Fine Food Australia 2019, 10 Sri Lankan coconut exporters were housed in the CDA Pavilion and 04 Ceylon Tea companies were also housed under the Tea Board Pavilion. Sri Lankan coconut and tea flavours are well-loved by the tourists who visit top restaurants in Colombo and the experts say, the potential that these Sri Lankan brands do possess to capture the international markets is huge if attentions are paid appropriately.

It was also evident during this event that Australians also do have special interests in the Sri Lankan cuisine as well, not being limited to its authentic ingredients like coconut and tea. Popular tourist restaurants the likes of Rare at Residence in Sri Lanka are known by tourists to quote noticeably and serving the international crowd with the best of tastes will not be a dream anymore with ventures and initiatives like these in the future.
