Sri Lanka Tourism Launched an India Roadshow Series – Loving The Neighbor

Sri Lanka, Tourism aimed to strengthen the bilateral relations between itself and India by embarking on a Roadshow series in multiple Indian cities. The series took place back in April, from the 24th to the 28th. The show started in Chennai on the 24th, moved to Cochin on the 26th, and concluded in Bangalore on the 28th. The series focused on promoting the tourism experiences Sri Lanka is famous for. This included convincing potential travelers to make bookings at top hotels in Sri Lanka, and signifying that the country is open for Leisure and MICE operations.

The series was spearheaded by the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Harin Fernando, who was accompanied by 30 delegations from travel agencies and hotel chains such as Browns Hotels & Resorts. The ultimate target of the show was Indian tourist agencies, media, travel influencers, and any stakeholder in the Indian Tourism sector, who can show the public that Sri Lanka is a country that is absolutely worth visiting.
