Sri Lanka Tourism was awarded the Let’s Travel First-Degree Laureate Award from among 12 international participants at the 6th edition of the Let’s Travel International Tourism Forum held recently in Moscow. The event, held from June 10th to 14th 2026, is one of the more recognised tourism events in Russia and had over 511,100 visitors, 180 regional and country stands, and 574 organisations.
Sri Lanka’s pavilion also gained significant interest among visitors with vibrant cultural performances, promotional materials depicting the island’s natural diversity and showcases of Ceylon tea culture.
The international recognition Sri Lanka received at the event is a testament to the island’s strong tourism potential and appeal of its culture, natural landscapes and pristine southern coastal towns, where visitors can hope to secure a world-class stay at properties like Araliya Beach Resort or any other luxury resort in Unawatuna, Mirissa, Galle or any other places along the southern coastline.
