Good news for the Sri Lankan tourism industry

After the devastating Easter Sunday attacks in April, the sudden drop in tourism was surely a blow to the tourist industry. However, there’s some good news for this tiny paradise island. In comparison to the months of April and May, the tourist arrivals have been picking up. However, in comparison to last year –tourist arrivals have reduced. Although not a drastic change, the tourist industry will only hope for an improvement in the coming months.
Many a luxury resort in Sri Lanka, the likes of Arie Lagoon will await the arrival of tourists from all corners of the world in the hope that the statistics and figures are in favour of Sri Lankan arrivals!
