Sri Lankan government relaxes quarantine measures for some travellers – Visiting the Pearl of the Indian Ocean

Since vaccination programs against COVID -19 have been started throughout the world, almost all the countries are now thinking of revising their travel restrictions. Sri Lanka also has decided to exempt those who have been subjected to the full vaccination program from mandatory quarantine procedures. To claim this exemption, travellers should present their vaccination certificates upon arrival. However, they will have to take the PCR tests on the 01st and 07th day of entry, as per the latest guidelines.

Travellers can tour Sri Lanka freely, yet safely with trusted tour agents the likes of Walkers Tours now. All local and foreign travellers are requested to wear facemasks every time they go outside and interact with the public.
