Sri Lanka’s biggest international music festival – Sunfest 2018 took on the Stage on the 15th of December last year. The event featured celebrity DJs Jonas blue and Diplo. The program also had live music performances of Jay Sean and the duo Sofi Tukker. The event attracted thousands of music lovers from all over the country and from around the world. Local media states that even tourists who were stationed at Spa Hotels in Sri Lanka, the likes of AVANI Bentota Resort & Spa visited the event. The festival took place at the Havelock sports grounds starting at 4 pm and extended till 1 am the following morning. Dubstep, electro house and trap were some of the popular genres which the music at the event was played.
