Surfing Contest 2018 – the young surfers shine

In the first week of August 2018, the young surfers took the waters of Phuket by storm on their surfboards as they tried to look good for judges. The Surfing Contest 2018 is now the talk of the town in Patong, Kathu, Phuket. The event was organized by Kalim Reef Surfers, this is an organization dedicated to honing the skills of young surfers and teaching them how to make solid friendships too. They are taught to face the competition in a friendly and respectful manner.
While perfecting their surfing skills, the surfers are also taught how to care for marine life with activities such as cleaning the beach every now and then. Tourists who were lodged in hotels like Kata Rocks and other such Phuket luxury villas in Thailand bought tickets and were present to witness this flashy splashy event in Phuket!
