Tanzania is expanding its tourism horizons by designating China, Russia, and India as its new strategic tourism markets, in a bid to boost its growing tourism sector.
Thereza Mugobi, the director of tourism in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, made this announcement during the opening session of the 7th Swahili International Tourism Expo held in Dar es Salaam. This prestigious event attracted more than 150 exhibitors and over 100 international buyers from over 20 countries across the globe. SkySafari and other travel agents displayed their tours in Tanzania for those hoping to visit again.
