Thailand recently hosted the Annual TAT action plan conference which unveiled the 2023 marketing plan of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. The marketing plan for 2023 reiterated a commitment to transform and rejuvenate Thai Tourism with an emphasis on gaining more inclusive and sustainable economic growth. As added by Mr Yuthasak, the governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the authority strives to attain its goals under three strategic objectives namely driving demand for meaningful travel, shaping supply by developing a new tourism ecosystem and reaching for excellence by making TAT a data-driven organization.
Recognizing time as the new currency, the action plan also highlighted the importance of promoting Thailand as a year-round destination for family, business, and leisure travels. For robust growth in International tourism, the Tourism Authority is also expecting to enter into active partnerships with Airlines with the hope of increasing the seating capacity of Thailand visits. With responsible, inclusive and sustainable tourism taking the forefront of the 2023 action plan, this bodes well for accommodation hotspots in Thailand like Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas, a charming hotel in Koh Phangan that promises an ultimate island experience amidst natural landscapes.
