Thai Sommelier Affair 2018 Successfully Held at Anantara Siam – Explore the World of Wine

Wine tasting is an ability that is confined only to certain people, The Sommelier Affair 2018 brought together some of the top wine tasters in the country for a gala event. The event was held on the 4th of May at one of the Sukhumvit hotels in Bangkok, the well-known Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

The event brought to light more than 100 prestigious labels in the world which were handpicked by the professionals themselves. World-class wines and canapes were served to guests at the event. Among those who attended were star class chefs who discussed their passion towards their field of work. Some of the main guests were the winner of Thailand Sommelier Competition 2016, Thanakorn Bottorff of Gaggan Restaurant Group and Thitid Tassanakajohn, known as Chef Ton of Le Du who has taken the spotlight as Thailand’s brightest culinary star.
