Thailand Aiming for Endemic Status as More Travel Restrictions Lifted – Better times arrive for the country

Thailand, just like all the other nations across the world, now seems to be recovering from the hit of the covid-19 pandemic. Certain travel restrictions have been removed as well and in about 3 months the country will be ready to downgrade the pandemic.

A virologist and researcher for the National Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Thailand, Dr Anan Jongkaewwattana, warns that even though the pandemic is downgraded, prevention is better than cure. The effects of the virus on one’s body would still be the same. Nonetheless, resorts in Khao Lak, the likes of Avani+ Khao Lak Resort will still keep to the rules of the new norm when it comes to ensuring the cleanliness of surfaces.
