Are you fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are wondering if travelling to Thailand will be easy, don’t think twice because the country has lowered their quarantine restrictions. From May 1st this year, fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from PCR testing on arrival.
The Thai Prime Minister stated that Thailand is a country that relies on tourism and this initiative to make travel to Thailand easier is sure to get the economy moving forward. Unvaccinated travellers though will still have to provide a negative PCR before arrival. Guests staying at any hotel in Bangkok Sathron the likes of Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok must register for a “Thailand Pass” and submit proof of travel insurance as well worth for at least $10,000 for COVID-19 treatment. The country hopes that the economy will see a boost with all the removal of mandatory quarantine for all travellers.
