The Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS) will be held at Phuket Yacht Haven from the 9th to the 12th of January next year. As the largest marina on the island, Phuket Yacht Haven offers 332 berths and can accommodate boats over 100 metres in length. It is conveniently situated about 11 kilometres from Phuket Airport. This shift from the previous venue, Royal Phuket Marina, enables increased capacity and potential growth both on the water and onshore, according to David Hayes, CEO of JAND Events.
The 2024 TIBS event experienced a remarkable 62% rise in overall visitors compared to the previous year, with a notable 74% increase in international attendees. A large portion of visitors hailed from Europe and the APAC region. Simpson Marine, The Yacht Sales Co. (Thailand), and Sunseeker have already confirmed their participation for 2025. Onshore, numerous exhibitors have also committed to attending. After exploring the boat show, attendees might consider the best place to eat in Bangkok, the likes of Guilty Bangkok, for a great dining experience.
