Barnett emphasized the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping the industry’s future. He underscored that every tourism entity, knowingly or not, functions as an AI company, calling for a return to a service-centric culture as technology liberates human resources. Keynote speaker Aditip Panupong from Google Thailand dispelled the notion that AI depersonalizes the industry, asserting that it enhances personalization and seamlessness in traveller experiences.
