The world-renowned Full Moon Party, is set to be hosted at its ancestral grounds in the crescent cove of Haad Rin Beach, located on the southernmost tip of Phangan Island, Thailand. Every month, over 12 vibrant sound systems transform the 800-meter beach into an electrifying open-air nightclub, creating a festival-like ambience filled with pulsating music and abundant drinks. This unique event, hailed as an essential Thailand experience, tops many travellers’ bucket lists, especially those staying in Koh Samui family resorts such as the Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort.
Drawing crowds of up to 30,000 revellers, the iconic beach becomes a hub of celebration under the radiant glow of the full moon, continuing well into the early hours of dawn. To manage the aftermath cleanup costs, the local community has implemented an entry fee for accessing the beach during the Koh Phangan Full Moon Party night.
