Travel arrivals in Thailand have dramatically increased recently with international tourist arrivals posting an improvement of 24.75% during the period January to October. According to the data recorded by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Thailand has attracted 24,364,667 international visits within the first 10 months of the year 2015 reflecting a major rise from 19,531,084 visits within the same period in 2014. It is highly expected that tourism in 2015 would surpass the projected 28.8 million visits by the year end. During the first 10 months alone, 24.36 million visits have been recorded by the ministry data sources. Reliable sources predict that yet another 5.2 million visits will be anticipated over the remaining two months of the year that would certainly drive Thailand’s tourism to at least over 29.5 million visits that would exceed the year-end estimated figures. Thailand is well known for its attractive tourist hotspots and cities both urban and rural like Krabi. There are many luxury secluded holiday destinations for tourists to spend their vacation in rural hotspots such as Anantara Si Kao Resort, a popular Krabi resort hotel.
