For the sports fans out there here is some interesting news for you! The Bangkok Midnight Marathon is back this year and is scheduled to take place in August on the 25th and 26th. The race to the finish line keeps getting more and more competitive each year. There are hundreds of athletes preparing themselves for the challenge that lies ahead.
This year the races are divided into 3 categories; the 42 km full-marathon, 21 km half marathon and a 10 km mini marathon in the district of Phra Nakorn. Each category will be given a time limit in within which competitors must complete the race. The theme for 2018 is “Run with Thai Tone” by Thainess. This concept also goes hand in hand with “Open to New Shades” which is a marketing campaign for the tourism sector in Thailand. This concept is expected to draw in foreigners who will increase the occupancy rates in accommodation options like Emporium Suites by Chatrium which is a luxury hotel in Bangkok.
