The BIGSOUND Festival A Big Hit

An Unforgettable Music Event in Brisbane

The hugely popular BIGSOUND Festival thrilled music fans once more as it showcased a massive line up of musicians from Australia and other parts of the world too. Attendees descended on Fortitude Valley in Brisbane to enjoy live music during the festival period which ran from 3rd to 6th September 2019. The performances took place at 18 official venues within easy reach for those who found apartment or hotel accommodation in Brisbane CBD. Venues included Crowbar Brisbane near Oaks Festival Towers, The Flying Cock, The Zoo and The Foundry.

DREGG, Concrete Surfers, Aphir, Bobby Alu, Electric Fields, Hannah Blackburn and Obscura Hail were amongst the artistes to be featured in this year’s line-up. 2019 marked the 18th edition of the BIGSOUND Festival and highlights included the Levi’s Music Prize being awarded to blind Sudanese refugee and musician, Gordan Koang.
