The Facets Sri Lanka 2019 – Yet Another Successful Show

An annual show that has been held uninterrupted since its inception in 1991, Facets Sri Lanka 2019 was successfully hosted in the country’s commercial capital, Colombo. The event which ran from 29th August to 1st September 2019 was hosted at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH); this venue is a popular choice for such events since it’s within easy reach of hotels in Colombo City including properties such as Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association (SLGJA), Facets Sri Lanka put the spotlight on the island’s gems & jewellery industry as well as Ceylon Sapphires which has garnered worldwide fame. Apart from a number of local exhibitors, the show also featured those from other Asian countries as well as from Australia, South America and Africa. Those who attended not only had the chance to see exquisite gems and jewellery but other aspects related to the industry including machinery, equipment and tools.
