Since the Maldives is now open for all international travellers, the government together with the tourism authorities have updated the COVID 19 guidelines that the travellers should follow when travelling to the Maldives. The country has opened borders for Indian travellers as well.
According to the updated guidelines, every traveller (even if he/she is fully vaccinated) should produce a negative PCR test result report at the airport upon arrival. Since all Maldives luxury resorts the likes of Residence Maldives Falhumaafushi are welcoming guests, travellers will have to book their resort before they come to the Maldives, and then present their hotel booking confirmation with other documents upon arrival. Wearing masks and practicing social distancing are still of utmost importance, and public health officials expect every traveller to act responsibly when they are in the Maldives, having a good time.
