The recently opened Louver Abu Dhabi now one of the largest museums in the Arabian Peninsula. Established on the 8th of November 2017, the art and civilization museum form a part an agreement between the governments of France and the Abu Dhabi. According to the minister of foreign affairs, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the opening of the museum is a ” very bad day for extremists” but is a concrete example of UAE’s efforts to be a modern and tolerant society.
Sheikh Abdullah also acknowledged and welcomed the role the museum would play in establishing a strong relationship with nations from all over the world. A popular holiday destination, affluent travelers of many nationalities flock to the capital to enjoy luxury getaways at resorts including the likes of Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort or to dock their yachts at the many Abu Dhabi Marinas.
