A popular sailing event in Thailand, the annual Samui Regatta 2019 is expected to draw a large number of competitors from around the world. The regatta is scheduled to take place from 25th May to 1st June and will be based around Chaweng Beach; this coastal area is easily accessible for those staying at Koh Samui resorts on the island the likes of Avani+ Samui Resort. Apart from the main fleet race, there will also be dinghy fleet and hydrofoil kiteboard races at this event organised by Regattas Asia.
The Samui Regatta 2019 will mark the 18th edition of this regatta which began in 2002. Along with the races, there will also be many special events and parties during this time including the opening ceremony, the dinghy fleet prize awards, the closing awards ceremony and an exclusive final night dinner.
