According to a report conducted by the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the UAE and Saudi Arabia boast some of the tallest structures in the world. The survey indicated that buildings in the UAE are ranked among the top ten of the world’s tallest skyscrapers that were built in 2017, with three of the Emirates’ buildings being ranked 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.
The Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre, also known as Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid, was recently completed, and is also a looming structure; it is located next to a beautiful promenade, which is famous for outdoor dining in Abu Dhabi. These structures could also help in boosting tourism and prove beneficial to the many luxury hotels and resorts in the region such as Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara. Another highlight in the UAE would be the upcoming Jeddah Tower of Saudi Arabia which will be the tallest structure in the world and the first to hit the 1km mark.
