The United Arab Emirates Buckles up to Avoid an Escalation in Covid Numbers

With Covid 19 cases in the United Arab Emirates witnessing an upsurge, the country has taken steps to reimplement its mask mandate. In Fact, as per an announcement made on 13th June 2022 by the Supreme Council for National security, those who fail to wear a mask when frequenting public places can run the risk of being fined Dhs 3000. In the meantime, the announcement also indicates that the country’s green pass validity system better known as Al Hosn green pass system requires you to sustain a negative PCR test result for at least 2 weeks before accessing public places including restaurants and malls.

The measure is a relaxation of the previous regulation which required the public to maintain a minimum 30-day-old green pass validity prior to being in public vicinity.  If you ever find yourself at a meeting, a family trip or a romantic getaway in Abu Dhabi, luxury hotels like the charming Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort would be a great choice simply because of the resort’s serene and secluded atmosphere that helps keep Covid at bay.
