Tourists from countries that aren’t in a lockdown can travel to some destinations – and some of them don’t even require guests to quarantine on arrival. However, it is best to check the latest travel restrictions of each European country before making reservations. Several destinations welcome tourists with open arms including the Maldives, Zanzibar, Mexico, Iceland, Morocco, and Costa Rica.
All Europeans are exempted from quarantine in the Maldives, except for British travellers who are required to self-isolate for ten days. Visitors to Zanzibar will be screened on arrival and only those that display symptoms are required to produce a negative test result; others will be cleared off to spend their vacations at one of the Zanzibar resorts including properties like The Residence Zanzibar. Other countries (mentioned above), too, have adopted similar quarantine-free procedures.
